Hello, friends and Gail, today I want to talk about Earth day, actully I really don't know what the Earth Day is before I came to Seattle.

Earth Day

Earth Day, celebrated in the US on April 22, is a day designed to inspire awareness and appreciation for the Earth's environment. It was founded by U.S. Senator Gaylord Nelson as an environmental teach-in in 1970 and is celebrated in many countries every year. This date is Spring in the Northern Hemisphere and Autumn in the Southern Hemisphere.
The United Nations celebrates an Earth Day each year on the March equinox, which is often March 20, a tradition which was founded by peace activist John McConnell in 1969.

Week 2 - Introduction For S/L/G 3

Dear guys:
Hello, my name is Sharn, I come from Beijing, China and 21years old. I'm interest in Heavy Metal music such as Metallica(), Rammstein, slipknot, nightwish and so many bands like that. Second I like to play basketball with my friends, it is not only a kind of aerobics but also I am really enjoy it; Next interest is I like study the foreign languages like Japanese, Germany,Spanish and some langluages like that. Also I like eat delicious food like PHO, Fried rice and Kong Pao Chiken.
